I was going to write this earlier but I was going through some changes that I needed. So here is what I’ll say about change…it’s needed at times, it helps us understand that the world in which we live in, is so dynamic that we have to evolve with it.
I took a look in the mirror the other week and was not very happy w/the “blob” looking at me. So I'm thinking change is not all that bad, in fact, it’s needed at times. I decided I was going to have to make some changes in my lifestyle...more specifically, my diet. That’s hard for someone that really likes...wait, I mean loves food. I so love food that I just gain 10 more pounds eating the last remaining Girl Scout cookies in my desk drawer…darn cookies…darn Girl Scouts!!
The week I ate at Kingdom Buffet, I was hoping to go to Subway…which is another blog…and was thinking, I have to start w/eating right and not overindulging to the point I’m undoing my belt buckle or unsnapping my pants to get in that last morsel of deliciousness. In fact I was only going to eat when I'm hungry and no more than my brain tells me that I can take in…”Stop” my brain would say…”You need to stop so the food is not reaching your ‘Man Boobies’”. This is direct fault of mine for always going back and piling more on! Enough about me and my dirty eating habits, I’m changing them, except for when I visit Kingdom Buffet, which is what I was writing about.
That week some of my co-workers (you darn peep toes…you know who you are), mentioned a Chinese buffet.
The mentioned of a Chinese Buffet, makes my taste buds water for MSG. “Oh come on man”, I said to myself, “You’re making changes!” They started to mention sushi…somewhat healthy I thought, a hibachi grill, okay now that has to be healthy plus they have a decent selection of other Chinese foods. I thought okay…I can just eat the sushi and I’ll grab some veggies. Well I’ve been to my fair share of buffets and let me tell you this, this one ranks right up there with nice, friendly, and yummy!! The selection of Chinese dishes number somewhere in the teens, plus they offer a salad bar, desert bar and of course sushi and hibachi bar! The food is decent and the fact the prices at lunch is around $7.50 is always a good thing. If you’re looking to add some “man boobies” (for men) or “side saddles” (for women) then this would be a great place.
I rank this place as a 7 out of 10 dish place to eat!
